Fairways beneath Alpine peaks, courses full of character and a lake waiting after your round. A golf escape where the score is only part of the story.
Your first tee shot beneath Alpine peaks, an afternoon dip in the lake and an unhurried dinner. Here, golf is about more than the scorecard.
The Zell am See area is a little paradise for golfers. Four handpicked clubs are within reach, each with its own character — from generous, level eighteen-hole courses to hillside fairways where every hole brings a new surprise.
The plan shares tips we have tried ourselves: where to walk, where to take a buggy and why the right tee time matters. After your round, discover crystal-clear water, relaxed refreshments and a sauna area for cooler days.
Choose a few golf days or a longer stay with leisurely afternoons. If non-golfers are travelling with you, the surrounding mountains and lake offer plenty of reasons to come along.

Who it suits
For golfing couples, friends and players who want quality courses with an Alpine holiday. Also suitable for travellers with non-golfing companions — alternate rounds with relaxation or outings. This is a standalone golf plan, not the complete five-day Zell am See sightseeing itinerary.
Walking and conditions
Some courses are level and pleasant to walk; others have more elevation, where we recommend a buggy. Expect the usual physical demands of eighteen holes and changeable mountain weather. Check course entry requirements, handicap rules and buggy availability directly with each club.
Golf takes centre stage
Four clubs, varied playing experiences and recommendations made on the fairway. The PDF names the courses, helps you choose an eighteen-hole layout for a shorter stay, explains where to watch the tournament calendar and where a buggy makes sense. It also explains Golfamore: participating clubs may offer 50% off green fees, subject to the course, date and membership terms. It is not an automatic discount on every round; check the current offer before booking.
